「愛浜（アイヒン）、明浜（メイヒン」
双子パンダは「愛浜」と「明浜」 和歌山 公募で決まる

和歌山県白浜町の観光施設「アドベンチャーワールド」で、昨年１２月２３日に生まれた双子パンダの赤ちゃんの名前が９日、決まった。メスが「愛浜（アイヒン）」、オスが「明浜（メイヒン）」。
誕生後、同施設が入園者はじめホームページなどで広く名前を募り、７１６８件あった応募の中から選んだ。
「愛浜」は生まれた時の１９６グラムから２３６０グラムに、「明浜」は８４グラムから２０８５グラム（９日現在）にそれぞれ体重が増え、子育て上手な母親の「梅梅（メイメイ）」のもとで元気に育っている
